I’m linking up once again to Nony @ A Slob Comes Clean to account for what I’ve done to declutter my home.
In Auigust I surpassed my year-long goal to Declutter 1825 Things in 365 Days (five things/day) so now I’m just tallying how many things I can declutter across the whole year.
Thanks again for hosting Nony and well done for the thirty-one days of details - you certainly challenged me - I managed a very lowly number of posts across the month and like you I faff about the details when in fact they take such a small amount of time to deal with.
I doubt I'll link up next month as our little bundle is "due" in FIVE DAYS! but I'll certainly try to link up at the end of December/start January to see out the year. Despite my pregnancy bulk I definitely feel lighter as a result of continuing this decluttering. I still have a long way to go (coming from a line of packrats) but I'm so pleased with where I am today versus where I was when I started out on this journey early last year.
My biggest accomplishment for the month was to go through ALL my books (I have thousands - literally - I'd be scared to actually tally them up) - I may not have gotten shot of many but now that they are organised and accessible I am just over the moon!
So here's this month’s numbers . . .

What a fantastic way to go about this! I always toss everything in the corner until of the basement until that imaginary extra time arrives. 5 a day is brilliant!
Fabulous! Interesting way to keep track. Congrats on your little one! Take it easy and sleep all you can.
Not sure my comment went through. I'm so impressed you have managed to get rid of so much. Interesting method of keeing track--item by item like that. Congrats on the little one! Hope everything goes well. Sleep whenever you get a chance.
Great job decluttering! I love the feel of getting rid of stuff, it's actually very freeing. Of course, the trick is not to bring so many things into the house. I'm still working on that one :)
Congratulations on the new baby!
Way to go on reaching AND surpassing your goal! I love how you said you feel lighter. That is so true. It's amazing how getting rid of clutter affects how we feel physically.
And congratulations on your reason to take some time off from decluttering! Enjoy that baby!
wow, awesome!
And congrats on the new little one!
