December Decluttering Update

I’m linking up one last time to Amy @ The Finer Things in Life to A Slob Comes Clean to check-in with how I’ve done on the decluttering challenge (with my goal) to:

DECLUTTER 1095 THINGS IN 365 DAYS

*Thankfully this won't be the last decluttering linky and I will be able to repeat the challenge (I hope) in 2011, I've already started writing up my January decluttering post so thanks Nony for keeping it going!*

I’m putting this up a little early as I’m off on a lovely week’s holiday with my hubs to Lanzarote (a Spanish island off Africa – one of the Canary Islands) and the sun, sea and sand – can’t wait! Hopefully I’ll be able to link up to Amy’s final post on the challenge when I get back (or even when I’m away – Hubs won an iPad through work – woohoo!). This month I got a lot of mileage out of going through my decorations and my gift wrapping (that was taking up entirely too much room in my bedroom and now occupies only a small corner of a chest of drawers in my study – yay!).

Final result is that I outdid my own expectations and chucked even more than my total – I actually COMPLETED the challenge and not just a challenge but a year-long one!!!! I’ve bolstered my confidence for my New Year’s Resolutions!
