This month I'm back to work and will be working longer hours as the kids (that I mind/borrow) are still off school and their Dad is back to work. I have tonnes to do in the house to prepare for our newest member's arrival in November so I thought I'd write myself a list of what to do (and by when) for this month and the rest preceding the wee one's birth. Of course the list was somewhat extensive so I'm gonna take it a week at a time instead.
We have an extra (because of fibroids – see Weekly Weigh-in Page) 28-week scan to check on baby and fibroids growth. Just had an antenatal appointment with all thing’s being good - bp, heartbeat, fundal height etc. so hopefully all will be well with scan also.
We also have friends of ours getting married so one of my (many) jobs is to take up the dress I’ll be wearing to their shindig (it’s about a foot too long at the moment). I’ve still to figure out all my accessories (bright colours are a must as the dress is black) and I also have to order a little lacy (attaches to your bra straps) fake camisole thing as the maternity bra and clothing companies are not talking to one another – basically all of my tops/tunics/dresses have a neckline that is about two inches South of where my (enormous but very comfy) maternity bra stops.
Over this week I’ll be at a monthly women’s Bible study group, hosted by my sis, a babysitting job for a 2YO and 4YO and I’ll be hosting a Tupperware-style lotions and potions selling party for my rep friend Mrs Kitty. On Sunday we’re off on a boat tour of the local lough - I’m praying for good sailing weather as last year they had to cancel. I’ve also got several errands so this is my week:

Love this idea of putting up a week plan for accountability. May just have to steal it too!! You need to remember to take it easy and relax before your life gets turned upside down (in the best possible way!!). Can't wait to meet my niece (you HAVE to have a girl!!!) or nephew - so excited!!!
ps - can you stick my email in the section that saves emails so I get this to my hotmail when you post? Tx
Have (hopefully) done just that T - though my technical skills are very definitely lacking.
