Yesterday I :
made the bed, opened the blinds and aired the house, oiled bump and perineum,
got dressed first thing,
ate breakfast, lunch and dinner,
drank two cups of raspberry leaf tea,
had my quiet time along with scripture memorisation but FORGOT to pray for baby and us as soon-to be parents REMEMBERED though to pray for my SIL as she faces her long-awaited operation on Monday,
did a dark wash,
prepped a second dark wash for today,
checked my email,
tried to complete the maternity form for government and realised I also have to get my sister to fill part of it in - have moved this to today's list,
began preparation on my English-centric tutoring for yesterday evening and then rearranged the session for this afternoon,
didn't work on clearing the “junk” in the living room,
took Mama to work again to prepare her for starting solo today,
didn't tutor Tammy-Girl (see above),moved in all of the nursery furniture, except the cot which is still being painted, moved in all of the baby's things (so far) and some of the decorations and made up the single bed as much as I could - it looks so cute!!!
didn't mark our bedroom wall for anything but
did lay out my clothes for today.
Today I plan to:
get up about nine and leave the husband to enjoy a well-earned lie-in,
oil bump and perineum,
get dressed first thing,
eat breakfast, lunch and dinner,
drink three cups of raspberry leaf tea,
have my quiet time along with scripture memorisation and prayer for baby, us as soon-to be parents and my SIL for her operation on Monday,
do another dark wash,
check email,
mark bedroom walls for six things and nursery walls for one,
return my brand-new driving licence which arrived yesterday with the wrong address on it,
research and complete maternity form with my sister,
prep for my tutoring session with Tammy-Girl (this avo) and the one with Little Miss on Friday,
work on clearing the “junk” in the living room for at least an hour,
make lunch for my Hubby,
fold and put away dry laundry,
prep white washing,
have a nap after Hubby leaves for work,
spend my usual “working hours” getting our kitchen, small sitting room, dining room, hallway and guest bathroom “company ready” for the baby shower on Saturday,
tutor Tammy-Girl,
prepare a sample for tomorrow’s midwife appointment,
write a definite Ikea shopping list for our imminent shopping trip (measure up for shelving, storage unit etc),place a book order for Christmas and birthday gifts,
watch last section of hospital DVD with Hubby,
lay out clothes, jewellery, make-up etc. for tomorrow’s wedding do and
lay out clothes for tomorrow generally. If I get a chance I might nip to the new "superstore" near us to get a mattress protector and single sheet-sets for the single bed in the nursery - all my single sheets were blue and of course the nursery is green!
How are you doing on your thirty-one day goals????
