c) DECLUTTERING CALENDAR
Spending time each day tackling a different decluttering task
.
Sun
Decluttered my TV Recorder Box (known in these here parts as the SkyBox)
.
Mon
Decluttered my candles and tablecloth cupboard – adding leftover wax to my wax collection (my Dad makes candles every so often) and recycling the candle jars and votives (Yankee Candle jars and similar make great storage jars especially as their lids are normally airtight and votives can be recycled as drinking glasses or just through regular glass recycling). I gather up glass recyclables under the sink and hubs makes regular trips to the bottle banks at his work – right now I feed the baby I childmind baby food from jars - that being what his Momma provides me with so there’s always plenty of glass baby food jars to recycle.
.
Tues & Weds
No decluttering was done as I was working overtime.
.
Thurs
Decluttered the top shelf and part of the middle shelf of one of my craft cupboards, also organised my ribbons, papers and beads. Only things that were decluttered went to recycling or the bin.
.
Fri
Organised my computer bookmarks, read some and deleted some.
Decluttered my TV recorder i.e. I watched lots of TV :)
.
Sat
Finished decluttering and organising the middle shelf - turned the house, well the study anyway, upside down temporarily
.
Sun
Decluttered my misconceptions of someone older, and in a position of power, that they were automatically wiser and a good leader to follow
.
Mon
Decluttered and organised the many piles lurking at my bedside and the many mysterious boxes from the lower shelf of my coffee table.
.
Tues
Put away all the organised mess from yesterday and about to sit done in front of the TV to finish organising the cards sections (blank cards, cards I’ve begun or finished that need tweaked and cards I’ve made that I can use/sell) of my craft supplies.
The rest of my craft supplies (decorations, ribbons, buttons, unfinished and un-started craft projects, basics like scissors and glue, sequins, stickers, fabric scraps, fabrics, threads, sewing basics, letter writing supplies, gel pens, sparkly glues and 3D paint pens, stamps and inkpads etc) are all but organised – hurray!
.
Still have my scrap-booking basket and knitting baskets to go through as well as many other surfaces and cubby holes and storage units etc. But a lot of progress has been made and a lot of recycling has been done. Just need to keep plugging away.
.
SYNOPSIS: Decluttered eight days out of ten and for much longer than my scheduled fifteen minutes.
.
GRADE: C+
.
AVERAGE OVERALL GRADE = A-
.
Hope I'll be able to keep up the momentum this week
