Do or Do Not Challenge: Week 1

This year I have re-committed to losing that excess weight which mysteriously seems to have increased! Ahem! A week's holiday in sunny Spain (Lanzarote) with all-inclusive buffet and sugary pop on tap (because the water was horible) has added on FIVE pounds! Am quite miserable today! A few weeks ago I go a Kifit which is the UK equivalent of the Bodybugg so heavily featured on The Biggest Loser. This gadget has shown me exactly how inactive I am, sorry was. Broke all my targets on the holiday with our evening walks etc. but obviously my gargantuam eating surpassed any exercising benefits.

I've been lurking around Kris' (she of Weird Unsocialized Homeschoolers fame) weight-loss blog Eclipsed  for some time and am finally joining in.

She has set her "Do or Do Not Challenge" that will continue for sixteen weeks and this week she's asked everyone to:

1. Write down everything you eat this week. (Have been and will be doing this on my kifit account).

2. Pledge your weight-loss at the Pound-for-Pound Challenge. (Just did this and chose the foodbank local to Mars Hill Church Seattle whose podcasts I listen to and added the button in my sidebar).

3. Get moving! (Have set myself a very low-key exercise plan that will build up incremently over the next twelve weeks - it's very low-key as I am very unfit and entirely averse to exercise of any kind - bar one, dancing. Frankly any movement will be a plus).
