Menu Plan Monday #5

I'm linking up once more to Laura @ Organising Junkie for Menu Plan Monday.

Planning ahead what we'll eat is really helping me work our way down the freezer and through the food stuffs in the house, it also takes away having to think about it every morning and evening.

Menu planning is really working for me and The Husband too - who is getting fed and watered much better than he had been!

Next week will include mushy peas, semolina, chicken curry and home-baked ciabatta - what a combination - eh?

This week's menu is:

Monday
DH - pumpkin/squash soup
Me - veg omelette
Us - mince (from the freezer), potatoes and veg

Tuesday
Us - mince, potatoes and veg
Us - mince, potatoes and veg with packet/tinned soup for starter if needed

Wednesday
DH - veg pasta from the freezer
Me - beans and veg
Us - chips on way home from our massage appointments

Thursday
DH - freezer meals x2
Me - beans and veg then soup, stock and couscous

Friday
DH - freezer meal
Me - freezer pumpkin/squash soup
Us - Hubby's choice and make

Saturday
Us - out for lunch using wedding vouchers
Us - take away tea (chinese)

Sunday
Us - lunch at my parents
Us - light tea/supper, if any

Yummy!

I've been on a health kick (I guess you could call it) for closing in on 3 months now, trying to lose a bit of weight so we can start trying for a baby next year. One of the dilemmas that I have is about feeding my husband, who doesn't like (or cannot eat) the things I'm eating now. So, hopefully I can look to your example for a bit of inspiration. :)
