Friday 7th January 2010 - Prayer & Priorites/Planning Ahead

Prayer

Lord I pray that I may be the me You wanted me to be as You knit me together in my mother's womb.

Amen

Priorities

1. Read the Bible in 90 days *update* ended up at my afternoon job as it struck noon as the temporary toilets at the girls' school were frozen and they had to send all the kids home. With the children happily engaged I got in about forty-five minutes reading and only have six chapters to go now. Looking forward to finishing it curled up under the covers. Got another chapter read before bed but only one as my husband is oh so lovely and distracting and how can I resist chatting with him! He needed an early night before the prayer meeting scheduled for 7am! so the light wen out much earlier too. I'll get caught-up tomorrow

2. Prepare phonics tutoring for Macayle & a plan of action and an-hour-and-a-half tutoring session for Kitty (will probably finish this Saturday am) *update* got all the phonics prepared and discovered a few weaknesses with Macayle esp. short vowel sounds and g/j confusion, will work on those kinks next week and continue with our work on telling time as she's starting to get someplace (not always the right place but someplace nonetheless). Gonna plan for Kitty after some blogging and dessert (hubs maded me banoffee - without the banana so I'm thinking tofscuit - toffee biscuit or biscee - biscuit toffee - what dya think?)
